Supporting Women Through Trauma and Transition

 

It can be hard to feel like yourself in the aftermath of significant losses, transitions, or traumatic events. Life can leave you feeling alone, hopeless, worried, unhappy, disconnected from yourself and others, and defeated. You may wonder if you will EVER get back to feeling like yourself again.

I believe that you can.

We as human beings are hardwired to return to balance. Hardwired. In other words, it is in our nature to heal from our past and patterns that keep us stuck and scared.

The work of "uncovering yourself", in other words, disarming shame, calming anxiety, discovering what makes YOU thrive and not just survive, building self esteem, learning to set boundaries, etc. is invaluable to establishing a rich connection with yourself AND with those around you. 

Therapy is a place to get support for this process. It is not as scary as it may seem or feel to you in this moment.
